At this absolutely exceptional time, CERN continues to monitor the coronavirus COVID-19 situation and update measures against the spread of the infection. Our highest priority is to protect the health of all CERN’s personnel, contractors, and visitors, while allowing the Organization to continue working.
In the attempt of minimising the risk of spreading the infection both on CERN sites and externally, CERN has taken several restrictive measures affecting the normal life of the laboratory. As a consequence, many activities supported by the CERN & Society Foundation may be impacted.
Nonetheless, we found new ways to collaborate from the safety of our homes, and we keep working to continue our positive impact on society.
To know more about measures currently implemented at CERN, please visit the Coronavirus: information, measures and recommendations page, which is regularly updated.
Many thanks to all of you for your patience and flexibility, as we navigate these uncharted waters.
